# BUMP Roadmap Ruleset

## Scope
- Use **BUMP only**.
- Never mix in issues, epics, sprints, or examples from other projects.
- If Atlassian search returns non-BUMP content, ignore it.

## Status spelling and accuracy
- The Jira staging status is exactly **`Staged`**.
- Preserve Jira casing and spelling exactly as returned by Atlassian.
- Do **not** normalize it to `STAGED`.

## Dashboard 1 — Last 2 Weeks
- Build this from BUMP issues that changed in the last 14 days.
- Include issues updated, transitioned, or completed in that window.
- Present it as one dashboard, not a list of unrelated epics.
- Prefer a concise summary of:
  - completed work
  - in-progress work
  - newly surfaced work
  - notable blockers or churn

## Dashboard 2 — Next Release
- Build this from BUMP issues in the next release pipeline.
- Each item must be labeled with a release-state flag:
  - **staged** when Jira status name is exactly `Staged`
  - **unstaged** for every other item in the next-release set
- Use the Jira status name itself for display.
- Do not infer staged from words like “stage”, “released soon”, or “ready”; only exact status `Staged` counts.

## Dashboard 3 — Upcoming Release
- Build this from the **active sprint** with the highest sprint number.
- Sprint naming convention is `Active Sprint <number>`.
- If more than one active sprint exists, choose the one with the highest numeric suffix.
- At the moment, the active sprint chosen from actual data is **Active Sprint 316**.
- Include the sprint name and date range in the dashboard header.
- Include only BUMP issues assigned to that chosen sprint.

## Output shape
- Generate one self-contained HTML page.
- Include a title and generation timestamp.
- Include the three dashboards in this order:
  1. Last 2 Weeks
  2. Next Release
  3. Upcoming Release
- Include a short sources / assumptions section.
- Keep the page readable on mobile and desktop.

## Guardrails
- Never mention other projects in the final page.
- Never fall back to the older 30 / 60 / 90-day roadmap structure.
- If data is missing, say so explicitly rather than guessing.
